See his point #1 about this being a discussion board and things being OPEN TO DISCUSS. He did not say anything about only one side can discuss.
The point is that people call others who have concerns and make these concerns known are "Debby Downers", etc. We're not. We just have concerns. It is ok to have concerns. We can have concerns and still support the coaches/program.

To further address this, would be to devolve this even further into a non football discussion, so let's just get back on track, shall we?

Really nice add on the Mississippi State tackle. Not a Jacarrius Peak, but a nice piece, which is what we need. 25 pressures and 3 sacks allowed on ~460 passing snaps this season isn't bad against SEC competition. At worst, we should have a pretty good amount of depth on the OL now

Maybe we’re arguing semantics. He wasn’t forced out. He could have stayed around for another year as a backup. But he lost his starting position (which was perfectly justified) and he left because there was no avenue for him to start again for Bama, barring injury to Tua. No ill intent on Bama’s part, but it had the effect of driving him away.

I’ll say one thing, we have went from what I personally felt was panic mode a few weeks ago when we got off to a slow start and missed on some big names…..

All things considered now, we have filled needs mostly along both lines of scrimmage, and considering where we were, and where we are now, I don’t see how anyone could complain at this point.

Well I think there's probably a minimum number to that, and I'd probably set it at 5. 7 is a solid sized transfer class if you are mostly building through recruiting and don't have many exits. They had 14 exits, so it just depends on their roster number and all that mess, as to whether that's a net gain or a net loss . But I guess that's why they're #10, and not #1

The Gassian Distribution formula is some of the most guarded knowledge on the planet,they don't teach this in college. You have to have the right kind of brains to understand it.

I'd think it would vary from player to player, but there is no way they have time to fully evaluate every single player in the portal, so they probably weight the HS rating a lot more than they should. I'd wager that these transfer portal rankings are even less accurate than the HS ones for that reason.

If the trenches play much better this year the sky is the limit.

If we make all these changes at the OL and there isn't a drastic improvement, there's no other place to point the finger except coaching. The coaching either sucks at OL coaching or sucks at talent evaluation.

But, I'm not going to flush the baby down the drain with the bath water until I see how they play next season. That will be the proof in the proverbial pudding.

Hey, Jonesy ... Wah, wah, wah. Glass houses and all that. Besides, what is tampering anymore, and who isn't doing it? I hate what college football and basketball are becoming, but if you don't reach out to players in the current setup, you'll be left behind. On the other hand, hypothetically, if an agent reaches out to team management, is that tampering by the team?

There’s probably a more diplomatic way to say this but screw Miami…lol

For us this would be a GREAT addition this late in the Portal cycle.

He possesses a very similar skill set to Smothers and would go a long way to salvaging how badly we botched that situation.

Pringle has good vision and wastes little time.

Most runs are 1 cut and he’s upfield whether a hole is there or not.

He also has speed to get to the perimeter.

He runs similar to Najee wrt Body Balance and keeps his legs churning and falls forward.

Runs a Sub 4.5 in the 40

As a bonus he also has good hands and in the highlights I’m linking he runs a Wheel Route for a TD and looks like a WR
