I can't conceive of anyone (either red or blue) seeing this as acceptable.
I was just as disgusted at Clinton during the Elian Gonzalez action. The thought of terrorizing some family with an assault team. Ruby Ridge. And while I thought the Branch Davidians were awful people, there is good evidence that the Feds might have started that fire.
Not to mention that the family is not even here illegally. They are seeking asylum and have done everything correctly so far, and are living here legally, waiting for the case to be heard. ICE doesn't care and just saw another "brown" family to terrorize. According to their lawyer, he has only had indirect contact with his client, no direct contact, which is a violation of the Constitution. Just more illegal crap by ICE.
It will not be long until some citizens start asserting their 2nd amendment right against these thugs kicking in their doors. I mean, fighting a corrupt government is exactly what the 2nd is for, right? You say you can't see either side seeing this as acceptable and then immediately list multiple examples of federal abuse of power which doesn't really strengthen your argument. The first and second amendments are constantly under attack and have been for years, but suddenly these people are gonna draw a line at the fourth? No, there is no rational argument to be made for this.
For once, we have an issue here that isn't being painted as a left/right issue (yet) but lost in the confusion is the fact that it is an us vs. them issue. Slab, the people you vote for (and against) don't give a damn if you live or die. Why in the hell would they care about your constitutional rights? It matters little what we think about this blatant disregard of the fourth amendment; we have no power or influence. Even your vote's impact has been minimized over the years.
So yeah, we may not accept this sort of behavior, but that ultimately means nothing. The real question is: Is there anyone left in D.C. who won't accept this from either side? My guess, only a handful and their careers are almost certainly in jeopardy.
I'm old enough to remember when the Black Panthers decided enough was enough, and started arming themselves. And the nervous clucking from the same people who claimed that guns were protection against government overreach.
What if the immigrant populations in this country start taking up arms against a tyrannical government, an start defending themselves? Isn't this the reason we always hear about the 2nd amendment...that it keeps government honest?

Cumberland County Sheriff Kevin Joyce confirmed it was one of his corrections recruits who was detained by ICE in Portland’s Bayside neighborhood on Wednesday evening.
“They all took off leaving his car with the windows down, the lights on, unsecured and unoccupied,” Joyce said. “They left it right on the side of the street. Folks, that’s bush league policing.”
The people we hear that from mean only if they are the ones keeping things honest. This is why Jan. 6th is no big deal in their puny minds.

It is intresting as well for me to understand ICE actions are in states that have voted Democratic, Minnesota, Maine, California, Oregon. While there are ICE sightings in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Texas that undoubtly more immigrants in these states in construction and agriculture. I don't understand how anyone can justify such disparate treatment of many citizens through clearly illegal and unconstitutional actions.
I do understand that there are many Alabamians that believe this is all well and good. That is until they undergo similar treatment.
