True, but no matter how statesmanlike Trump performed, this was always going to happen. We know that what is happening up in Minneapolis is organized and possibly funded. For people like me, it's no coincidence that this happened shortly after the fraud revelations came out.

If the numbers I've seen are correct, 23% of ICE deportations are happing in Texas. In Minnesota, that number is about 2.2%. Yet practically all of the violence is happening there and and I believe the reason why is because it is being promoted and provoked by bad faith actors. The violence is the point.

It's called optics. The Democrats are taking a play out of Hamas' playbook where they put their offices underneath hospitals and schools, thinking that Israel would never bomb a hospital and if they did, imagine the outrage.

So, take your young kids to the protest and hope that the tear gas get's broken out so you can have some awesome photo ops. Brilliant!

Oh, I get it, and I take that into consideration as well. I now know there is a huge job market for professional protesters and the role they play in the "non peaceful" protests. But I also know that there are aspects of ICE that have taken on the "personality" of Trump in how they go about things. I'm not saying everything they do is wrong and out of line, just like not every protester is hired and paid to cause chaos.

In all seriousness, I've got five kids and have told them they could make some extra money by offering their services to go protest. Especially my three oldest, who every time I turn around have their hands held out telling me they need money. Just don't get arrested, make sure they pay you in cash and don't give them your real name.
