I seem to recall that the Gulf Wars were started under Republican Presidents named Bush. Not necessarily a criticism of them; definitely one of Tuberville.

Today, three U.S. Air Force F-15 fighter jets were mistakenly shot down by Kuwaiti air defenses during ongoing regional combat operations. All six crew members safely ejected and were recovered in stable condition. There was a story I heard earlier , that China may have jamnmed the Kuwaiti warning system that made it impossible to ID them as friendly. Don’t know if that is true.

Me thinks the Trump administration and his band of yes men severely underestimated IRANS military capability, and their weapons stockpiles. There is a story on several networks that the U.S. is running out of air defense missiles. This isn’t Iraq or Afghanistan , A bunch tribal leaders with a handful of ammunition and a couple of Toyota pickup trucks. Trump prepared for an Iranian war for 15 minutes, Iran has been preparing for war with the U.S.for 40 years.

Raytheon better get to work!

With the exception of 1945… when has an aerial bombing ever resulted in a regime change?

The problem is that IRGC is far more competent and modern than the Iraqi Republican Guard. They are also far more fanatical. They are basically the SS in how they will actually die for an ideology over living with the idea of defeat.

Again i ask the question…”what was the point of going to war with Iran?” I mean if the goal was to kill the ayatollah then i guess we succeeded but that was an incredibly stupid goal if that was the plan.

Ironic for so many reasons…

1) Churchill accepted election results that put him out of power
2) Churchill owned his mistake at Galipoli and joined the army
3) Churchill suckered in Ike in backing the anti Mosedegh coup in Iran when he couldn’t get Truman to do it earlier

Tubby, Bush II , and apparently Trump doesn’t understand is that the devil you know is better than the devil you don’t know plus millions of PO’d followers. Bush I accomplished his objectives.
