Pearl Jr. was behind the 8-ball from the start in that transition. My understanding is that he's more of a disciplinarian than his father. As long as things were going well among the players, he did ok. But when they started facing a lot of adversity, it was probably inevitable that one by one players would stop playing for him. A lot of people are ready to dismiss him, but I'm not there yet. Give him a year with his recruits and we might see something different. Then again, he might not pan out either. The barn has got to wondering if they have been jobbed on this coaching switchup, I mean nepo hiring
I hope he fails horribly but they still keep him.Pearl Jr. was behind the 8-ball from the start in that transition. My understanding is that he's more of a disciplinarian than his father. I’ve wondered about kind of thing before. Would we have gone after a Nate Oats if UA didn’t have Pearl doing well there? I’m certainly not an AU fan, but does it help us for them to at least be semi-successful?I hope he fails horribly but they still keep him.
Well that’s disappointingI’m certainly not an UA fan,

I'm thinking: YES to 1st ?; NO to 2nd ?I’ve wondered about kind of thing before. Would we have gone after a Nate Oats if UA didn’t have Pearl doing well there? I’m certainly not an UA fan, but does it help us for them to at least be semi-successful?
I believe you are correct.I'm thinking: YES to 1st ?; NO to 2nd ?
Been tough week at my place... my mother has been placed under hospice care, so I'm sure that isn't the only thing I've mistyped this week (hope that one was the most important mistake though!). It's not that I believe AU happenings necessarily dictate our moves, but when the other team across the state is doing well, I tend to believe there's a little more pressure to get things right at our place.@BAMARICH, could you be having a dyslexic moment?![]()

No problem whatsoever... didn't take any offense to it. Thanks for your kind response my friend.@BAMARICH, I am very sorry to hear your news about your mother.
Please accept my apology, if I somehow crossed a line. Certainly wasn't my intention.
My comment was nothing more than a drive-by-posting to address, in a light hearted way, the inverting of the two letters. I had no thoughts concerning the message of your post. Goes to show how limited an emoji can be, I suppose.

Thanks Bazza... appreciate the kind sentiment bud. Please give Mom a hug or 5 from all of us. Best wishes on the journey....many of us have been there, my brother...
