Just came in from working in the yard. Mostly cleanup from our Feb. 1 freeze. More to be done but as Mom used to say...it's a cinch by the inch!

We're in the 70's with a high humidity so I'm sweating! Will have some lower 80's next week. The higher temps will help with palm tree resurrection and rehab so I'm good with it.

Same up here...I spent @ 3 hours cutting back my "frost burned ferns" and also a way overgrown rose bush. Took a 30 minute rest and then went and worked out for an hour or so. Great day...time to relax and get read for golf tomorrow -- after I grill a pork tenderloin that my wife has sous vide already....life is good.

Holy cow......what a mess! :( All this covered by insurance, right?

A deadly tornado touched down in Indiana on Tuesday, March 10th. Drone footage shows damage to buildings, solar farms, vehicles, and wildlife. Two people were killed and several more injured.

Not if they can find any excuse to deny the claim.

That's why I dropped my homeowners when I paid my place off in 2014.

In the 17 years of being forced to carry it, I never once used it. Yet it and the separately required wind damage policy premiums kept going up and up every year.

I was glad to see some reform made but IMHO, we are still miles away from what's needed.

I truly hope the folks that were affected get some relief.....

I despise self-important weathermen. My wife and I are not big movie fans, but we do watch the Oscars and usually make some decisions about what we might view. The guy on WAAYTV just broke into the Oscars, just as they got down to the big awards. He said what needed to be said in the first three minutes. Now, he's said it 50 more times, showing off his technology as he does. Of course, they watch each other, so as long as one is on, all the other stations have to stay on also...
