Trump will ask Congress for $50B to fund the Iran war. While this will likely be just a down payment, if Trump is serious about short-term pain for long-term gain, he should ask for $50B in other spending cuts or tax hikes to pay for it. The debt is a greater threat than Iran.
Sounds like good old fashioned wishcasting to me. I mean, I totally agree with the idea, but I know it's not going to happen. So has Peter Schiff been living on a desert island the last 40 years when it comes to this clown and debt, or is he just being a disingenuous idiot?
If it's spending cuts, they should come from the defense budget.Sounds like good old fashioned wishcasting to me. I mean, I totally agree with the idea, but I know it's not going to happen.
He sure knows how to create allies. Fortunately most leaders view Trump as a one off from the American people but it may not matter...
funny how the taco toddler’s awful actions are never his own fault
The Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, Joseph Kent, just resigned and his letter is devastating.
He says Trump was “deceived” into war with Iran, pushed by misinformation and outside pressure, abandoning his own America First principles.
And he says Iran never posed any imminent threat to America. Read the entire letter below.

I'd have to see if I can find the tweet, but I think I saw that we're sending them over.I don’t understand why we can’t retask A-10s to patrol and shoot down the Shahed drones. If small arms fire can bring them down , I would think the A10s would be very effective , especially with the “swarm” of drones . They are highly maneuverable, faster than the drones and shaheed have no defensive capabilities, so pose little threat.
I don’t necessarily agree with you. You may not like the start of the war, but at this point it is extremely important to win the war and counterterrorism will be a huge part of defending the U.S. homeland. This is how you do it.
Top counterterrorism official Kent resigns over Trump’s Iran war, says Iran posed no imminent threat
Hat tip to former Green Beret Joe Kent for putting his money where his mouth is and following his principles, even though losing his job.
Maybe, but my point is trhat if you disagree with the policy so much that you cannot support it, then you resign and say why.I don’t necessarily agree with you. You may not like the start of the war, but at this point it is extremely important to win the war and counterterrorism will be a huge part of defending the U.S. homeland.

A very rare degree of character in Mos Eisley today.
At this point, I'm just following the reports of what's happening, not what the nitwit journalists think it means / will mean.According to SkyNews, killing Ali Larijani makes Israel/ US less safe. I don’t follow the logic, but that’s being reported. I watch BBC/SkyNews/Al Jazeera/NewsNation/CNN to get a broad range of reporting. And some comedy, the hostile encounter between John Bolton and the NewsAnchor on AlJazeera can only be described as Comedy gold as both ignored the others previous comments and made inflammatory comments . It was like watching an SNL skit. But back to the point, I don’t see how that is a bad thing toward the war effort.
