"He is a traitor," said Robinson — donning an "I Hate Nick Saban" T-shirt. "We should erase him from the record books and take everything back with his name on it. When he comes back he might get shot on the field — that or hit with a beer bottle."
That is what LSU fans get bad rep for.

"I thought 'OK, that's fine. It's furthering his career,'" Shawn Utin of Luling, La., said. "But the second that (expletive) comes and coaches my rival team, I know he doesn't have any morals.

"There are two people I dislike in this world. One is the devil, and the other is Nick Saban. As soon as he comes into Baton Rouge, I am going to find out where he is staying and sleep outside in a cot."

Andrew Robinson, of New Orleans, wants to take the newfound feelings towards the man that led LSU to the 2003 National Championship to another level.

"He is a traitor," said Robinson — donning an "I Hate Nick Saban" T-shirt. "We should erase him from the record books and take everything back with his name on it. When he comes back he might get shot on the field — that or hit with a beer bottle."
And they say BAMA FANS are too rabid about our program???

Some LSU fan called into a talk show this afternoon and claimed they threw Saban bobblehead dolls into urinals at the Sugar Bowl so that they could...well, you know.

Wow! They are nuts. I remember leaving the game in '98 when we came back and won. I thought I was going to be murdered... seriously.

Most of our Fran bobbleheads found themselves used for target practice or at the driving range to see how far a three iron could send the head.

Ungrateful fans. He turned around their horrible program and made them what they are today. You can't blame Saban for leaving, he always wanted to try the NFL. When he found out he didn't like it, the Bama job was open. What was he suppose to do? Geeze. One things for sure, if he wins us a NC we won't be p***ing on his bobble head two years later.

I have felt for a while that the SEC presidents need to start passing some sort of rules that penalize programs for the behavior of their fans. Years ago their fans were roudy, but fun. However, over the last 10 years they have gotten worse, and keep pushing it to see how far they can take their actions. Soon someone will be killed in Tiger Stadium and then it will be too late. LSU officials seem content on letting their fans act like animals, and it is time for the rest of the conference to force them to stop or be heavily penalized.

Reckon they want to erase that NC from the record books because CNS's name is attached to it?:biggrin2:
Then they would only have the one that was won when leather helmets were still used. After the way I saw them heckle Bama fans at our game in BR this year and at the I Bowl, I absolutely can't stand them anymore. Even Aubies and Vols have more class than those low budgets and I'm actually from Louisiana.

What do you expect LSU fans to do? Bama is a major rival, Saban can build a program. Should LSU fans jump for joy? Personally I will enjoy the LSU-Bama games even more because of this added dimension. It is very much akin to Florida fans being angry at Spurrier for coming back to the SEC, in their division, to a rival team, except that Saban is only two years removed from LSU and Bama is a lot better than South Carolina.

This is news to me. I don't see why it is such a big deal because the majority of LSU fans will tell you that "Bama sucks" and "lives in the past". If we "suck" so bad and LSU's program is so untouchable dominant then why the anger? It shouldn't matter. If I've heard once I've heard it a million times (especially during Shula's tenure) from LSU fans that Bama is no longer a threat to them and they view us along the lines of South Carolina and Ole Miss.

I figured the LSU fans would have been like the UF fans.....but I'm wrong on that. I don't think Saban is a traitor, it was a timing issue, just like SOS was with UF, & just as SCarolina got lucky at snagged SOS, Bama got lucky and snagged Saban.

If LSU fans would listen to his presser today, they would realize he loves LSU, & always will love LSU......which I can respect, and anyone else should to.

What I want to know is why is a reporter from the Maryville (TN) Daily Times writing this story?

I meant it as far as history and tradition goes, Bama is better. And let's face it, Shula was terrible, you weren't much better than Ole Miss and So. Car when he was here. Who said LSU was untouchable or dominant? Not anyone I know.

Nevermind, it just came to me. I bet they had a press pass reserved becuase they thought UT would at least go to the sugar bowl, and so he went anyway and that's all he could come up with. A story from the ....er.
