Re: Best players Ever from your high school
I attended Hueytown, Hoover/Berry and Conway High Schools.
Hueytown:
Tab Whisenhunt, Willis Beville (Both played on the 92 ChampionshipTeam) Tab was my neighbor and Willis and are grew up together. Willis joined the Navy out of high school but walked on and earned a scholarship to Alabama. Make a game saving fumble recovery in 92 against Miss State to preserve a win.
Davey Allison
Clifford Allison. Miss you. Always had a smile and made me laugh.
David Bonnett
Neil Bonnett
Bradley Morris. My cousin and could play any sport. Set several Alabama high school QB records while he was there.
Berry/Hoover:
Murry Bartow, basketball coach at East Tennessee State University and formerly at the University of Alabama at Birmingham
Jeff Brantley, baseball pitcher, former ESPN baseball analyst,
Stan White, Auburn University quarterback
Mike Kolen, Miami Dolphins linebacker
