Is Star Jackson reconsidering his decision?

Breaking News: Star Jackson is reconsidering his decision...
A WVU site BlueGoldNews.com says that after visiting West Virginia, Star Jackson is now open and that he is rethinking his decision. Almost everyone who has spoken with Jackson believed that he was headed to Alabama. According the the BGN Jackson is now open to more than one school. They said that Jackson still plans to make his announcement at a 3:30 p.m. press conference on Monday, Sept. 3. One thing to note is the comments from BGN in Jackson's profile do not contain any quotes from Jackson.
Just as I have always said, anything can and will happen in recruiting. These kids say one thing, and then change their minds and do another. This was about as close to a lock as it gets, some have even said he is a private commitment.
Well this little bit of info will make it very interesting tomorrow. lol

Well I don't think it is over yet by any means. As I said in my post above there were no quotes from Jackson in the BGN report. I know how the sites try to slant what the prospect says towards their fans. We won't have to wait long to know what the reall situation is.

Don't panic yet. We have good depth at QB with Wilson, McElroy, and Fanuzzi. We may actually need to focus more on the DL in this class should Jackson decide go somewhere else. Anyway, Terrelle Pryor is still available and we are still on his list.

Well, one thing is that like another poster said, there were no actual quotes from Jackson concerning changing his mind. Second thing is that if he does change his mind then there are more fish in the sea for BAMA to reel in. There is plenty of great tallent out there that we will be able to get and mould into a championship team. I'd love to hear that Jackson committs to BAMA but if he doesn't then that's his loss.

I just can't imagine him having his mind made up for a month and then on one visit change his mind enough to keep the same announcement date which is just 2 days after a supposed new decision. He would at least call the announcement off and wait until his official to Bama.

I don't think so. He's going to talk about how nice the campus is and blah blah blah. And of course the reporter is scribbling notes like crazy

Terrelle Pryor is a true talent. I honestly believe this PA resident will follow Namath to Alabama. Although years later I am sure he knows about Joe. He could certianly make heads turn by coming to Alabama. Word is, he is ahead of where Vince Young was at this point in his senior year of high school.

Well, like CNS tells 'em, If you aren't completely sure, don't commit. If he isn't sure, he shouldn't. I'm still feeling Star to Bama. Plus, he's supposed to be announcing on the 4th....they changed it from the 3rd b/c they realized it was Labor Day.

I know if i was a great player considering what school to play at i would want to go to a place where the coach has alot of knowledge about the NFL. Hopefully, these guys are smart enough to take advantage of coming here to help further their chances of playing on Sundays because Coach Saban will help them get there.

I'm with you on that....except the Pryor part. I personally think he is too much of a long shot. However, JPW and McElroy are plenty good, and we should be fine with either at the helm. I think we should focus on getting A.J., next year, and focus on the DL this year.

Pryor is the longest of long shots . Connecting Pryor with Bama is more of a Rivals.com fantasy than anything resembling reality . IMO , discussing and/or pursuing TP is a waste of time . JOMO .
