Okay, we still can play in a bowl game, and I hope with every bit of hope we have a great class coming in, but what will the team look like next year?

I think that we see several new faces, and the make up will be very very different. At least I hope so!

Did see some good things with R.McClain!!

I just worry, no young WR has stepped up, I hope Recruiting takes care of this and the Red S. come to play in the spring. Coaching on the O never got over the Lswhoville game, or was it the players. And, if we still have some trouble makers coming back, remember one bad apple. The running game looks good, but the passing game, O'lord help us, one thing, the D with a lot of no names, we will get better D play, which is what can win games.

McCoy has stepped up greatly when he's had passes thrown to him, but I think it's goning to take DJ Hall being gone for JPW to actually really start looking at other recievers. I think Stover, McCoy and Earl Alexander will be real solid if given the chance. I sure hope we get Julio Jones though!

I think a good D and QB play is everything in the SEC.

Ut=No more Anige

the Barn= No more Cox

R-Kansas= No DMac, I think (NFL) and possible coaching change

Lswho=No Flynn

Old Miss= Coaching Change

That leaves us and Miss St. with returning QBs that are good, and no coaching changes.

DMacs mom stated earlier in the year that he was not returning to college ball next year, I haven't heard him say for sure but all signs point to him declaring for the draft, as they say Momma knows best...

Good post. In fact, MSU and Bama may be the only 2 teams with returning head coaches in the West. That will certainly shake things up.

I think our team in 2008 is really going to surprise people. I look for it to be pretty good' I think we will have mostly freshmen and soph's playing but they will be good. The first few games might be tough but after that we will see a great improvement and will win most of our games.The only downside to this is if we keep the same qb. A change must be made and I hope Greg Mc will take over and lead the team to a very good season. If we continue with the same qb we can only look foreward to another 6-6 season. That is unfortunate but it is a fact.:BigA:

Once again we have several questions that we can not solve, if I would only wait and read JessN's summary, they always answer the questions. I think the recruiting this year and spring practice will say it all. I also will end the night with hoping a bowl win would be a positive for this future young team.

I believe that we're going to see a lot more changes at all positions. If the best QB we have is a true frosh, I say play him. This team has improved, it's just not reflected in the record. Now, it is hard to say that after dropping 4 straight games like we have, but in certain areas, we have improved a bit, we just keep shooting ourselves in the foot in other areas (like those dumb penalties that we committed against Auburn).

Hopefully, the recruits will see this as opportunity to show their skills and offer contributions to the team, no matter who they are or what they play. I just want to see the best players on the field, no matter who it is. McClain didn't play too bad this year despite being a true freshman. Heck, he was even allowed to call some adjustments early on in the season, I don't know if those responsibilities continued as the season went on.

Well, we will have our problems next year, but conisder the problerms other SEC teams may have. Right now, it looks like there is a real possibility that only MSU and Bama will have the same head coaches in the West. Orgeron gone, Tubbs maybe gone, Miles maybe gone, Nutt probably gone. The West may be ours by default.

Tubbs is not leaving. I know we all want him to leave, but I do not believe that he's going to leave for any job and this win over Alabama secured that for him. There's a better chance that he'll retire, and we all know that he won't do that.
