Florida or Oklahoma. I don`t care for either team. I`ve really lost a lot of respect for OU and Stoops on the way he runs the score up on some bad teams by leaving his starters in. You`re up 55 to 21 with 4+ minutes to go in the game and your starters are still in the game so you can hang 60 on the 92nd (117th in passing) ranked defense in the country. Same thing with Okie State, (86th in total D and 110th in passing), the week before. IMO... that is classless. I don`t care for Urban, but I do respect Tebow and his leadership abilities.

As I said in another thread, no one had a problem with Oklahoma running up the score 77-0 on aTm and fRan.

I have seen talented OU teams choke in bowl games and it's not unreasonable to think Florida can't choke again. OU's offense is explosive, more than Florida's IMO but Florida can play defense, something Oklahoma hasn't shown me yet. I don't think OU can score every time they get the ball and I don't think Florida can either. OU will have to play a different game to beat Florida and the Gators will have to really respect OU's offense.

I will be cheering for Oklahoma to beat Florida because of the perverted love fest that is currently going on in the media when it comes to Tim Tebow.

Both the Florida fans and the media think that Tim Tebow is god and I am so sick and tired of him being pushed back in everybodys face.

I have nothing but the upmost respect for Tim Tebow but at the same time there is no sense in the media and the florida fans going over board like they are.

IMO...If your leaving your starters in and throwing long passes down the field I don`t care who your playing it`s classless. If your down to you 2nd, 3rd and 4th string players, then, there`s not a whole lot you can do about that. They want a chance to score as bad as the starters.

Well, I am pulling against Florida, but I really don't care who wins. I just can't bring myself to pull for Florida because I still think we coulda/shoulda beaten them. You can call me crazy, stupid, stubborn, whatever, but I can't pull for uf after that loss. And now we get stuck with Utah. Man I hate the BCS.

I forgot how much I hate to lose!:)

I'm for BAMA and BAMA only. Don't care what happens to the rest of the SEC. :) :BigA:
I'd love it if it was a split championship. If there was ever a year for one, it would be this one with so many teams with 1-loss and each having a legit argument to play for a NC.

Hopefully Florida, because while the media love affair with Tim Tebow is sickening, the perverted lovefest our own fans have with Oklahoma is even MORE so.

Go Gators.

I like Florida to win. They beat us yesterday and I thought we were the team to beat. As far as who I like. it's very hard not to like Tebow and UM is a great coach. Stoops has become a real jerk and Bradford has an unhealthy arrogance kind of like Ken Dorsey. Go Sec!!!

I hope OU wins. Only because we recruit against UF. I am not in love with either programs.
Please explain to me how UF beating Oklahoma would have ANY more relevence to a recruit than say, FLORIDA BEATING US HEAD TO HEAD. It doesn't. It won't - and at the end of the day it just doesn't matter.

Oklahoma 21

Rather than calling it the "national championship" game, can we just call it the Ego Bowl this year?

I realize that florida is an SEC team, and all, but unless my feelings change, I'll be pulling for OU.

I'm sick of the lovefest for both Oklahoma and Florida. However, what REALLY makes me sick is the claims that "SEC defenses aren't that good but instead the offenses are just bad", "Big 12 offenses would run all over SEC defenses" and "the SEC is down this year".

I hope Florida stomps a mudhole in Oklahoma that is the size of Texas and then keeps stomping it until Chinese start oozing out.

I want to see Oklahoma gain -250 yards on Florida (0 yards passing, -250 yards rushing all on sack yardage, and 8 interceptions... 5 run back for pick-sixes). I hope that at the end of the night, Bradford and Iglesias follow their heart, leave the team, walk down to South Beach and become a moderately successful fashion designer duo... exclusively supplying Skip Bayless with "mahvelous" apparel for his future public appearances.

I dont think it's so much that as it is mutual respect that a lot of the older(40 yrs and up) OU and Bama fans have for one another's program. And, in a few cases, like my own, these just happen to have been your favorite two teams to pull for over the years.(we went 32 yrs without playing one another, so it was easy to pull for BOTH teams)

I predict OU will beat Florida, and handily at that. OTOH, I won't be too upset if UF were to win, at least that way we maintain SEC supremacy in the BCS(for whatever that's worth) I'm very impressed with the UF/Tebow machine, but even moreso with Sam Bradford and co. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE has stopped the Sooners this year. At least it's an argument that will be settled on the field.

I think the best two teams in the country played against each other yesterday in the Georgia Dome. The team with the best defense wins this one and it is Florida who has the best defense. Oklahoma's defense is not good enough to stop the Florida offense. Florida wins by two touchdowns.
