is the Utah offense much like UF's because of the Meyer connection. I know a lot different type players running it, but are the schemes similar?

Yes, from what I've read, but Utah doesn't have as top-notch athletes as UF.

Good deal, and it should be a good game...........
I hope they run Florida offense.............

I won't lie, I wish we were playing Texas in our bowl game, but it's still a good practice for Bama's defense playing that offense scheme. Should pay off in the long run for when we might meet them Gators again in the SEC title game.
Three extra weeks to practice defense against that type of offense will help.

I'm anxious to see how the Utes enjoy playing a team that say's "See that hole right there....that's where we're running....now stop us".

exactly, Bama has not done anything fancy on offense, it has been smack you right in the face and stop it if you can, and i dont think they can
no one else has been able to stop it even knowing that that is what we do

If it is Florida Lite (no Tebow, Harvin, Demps, James), we should win comfortably. Am I being unrealistic? (I know Harvin did not play, but normally he would so I count him anyways.)

You really haven't seen Utah play have you? I say bring it, but I doubt you'll want to run it when you're down anyways

Just so things don't get too far out of line like it did with the other Utes who have come to our message board.

This is not a smack board. If you don't know how to post without the smack attitude, move along.

It's no SEC schedule, but our guys aren't scrubs, i'm not saying we will beat Bama, but it wouldn't be a shocker either

Oregon St, TCU, and BYU are solid wins. The overall strength is weak in comparison to other BCS bowl teams, but it's still nothing to overlook. I know our coaching staff will have us prepared and ready to win this game. Utah will be surprised at the physicality of the game I can guarantee that.

And most Ute fans myself included are excited to play a team with as much prestige as Alabama.

It should be a great game, either team could win.
