According to the National Recruiting service rankings he is putting together a top class. Maybe not #1 but close to it.

Just to confirm, both Rueben Randle and Trent Richardson came to Tuscaloosa today for unofficial visits.

Coach Saban cut his press conference very short today in order to be able to spend more time with the guys in T'town on visits.

I'm glad to see Rueben Randle decided make the visit. Also nice to see Trent was in Tuscaloosa. They got to be thinking how great it would be to play together.

:) I don't need to remind you folks what it was like to be 17 or 18 again, do I? Any excuse for a road trip out of town is a plus for someone that age. Not that I'm wishing it to be just an excuse to get out of town, but i can remember the temptation to visit a university just for the babes.:) No kid is all bidness at that age.

I agree that the trips make him serious about the capstone, but I think it's more of a comparison of the extra-circular activities, ala nightlife, that he's comparing now IMO. It reminds me of what Julio did last year.

Wow...this is great to hear. Also shows these guys are talking to each other and hopefully building relationships.

Jonathon Atchison was also in Tuscaloosa for an unofficial visit, and he and Richardson and others were trying to woo Randle hard. Atchison asked him if he was coming to Alabama, and he said something to the effect of, "We'll see."

Fingers crossed.

Either way, good to see guys like Trent Richardson and Jonathon Atchison out there working for us. And to think, some of you guys are still worried about Richardson...

Very nice tidbit there BET. And frankly anyone who still thinks Richardson isn't solid just isn't paying attention. Also small note on Randle, Coach Bradley Dale Peveto that just left LSU to become HC at Northwestern State, was in charge of recruiting Randle. I am not saying that this will help our chances all that much but it certainly can't hurt.

Thanks, BET, for that inside info. This is VERY encouraging news, to say the least! This kind of story just reinforces my confidence in Nick as being both tireless and RELENTLESS as a recruiter.

He looks to be an NSD guy, and as 21 said, that probably bodes fairly well for us.

Any time you have a situation like this, the longer he waits the better.
