    Don't shoot the messenger....There are rules for playing Rammer Jammer...and by my last estimates, beating the proverbial cupcake of the SEC by a field goal, does not constitute beating the HELL out of a team. Believe it or not the band nor the band director sets those rules....the ATHLETIC...

    Great post lowend...Your post has opened up talk about the good ole days of the MDB. The band's performance has little to do with show selections. There's a fire not there anymore...I suspect the band will be bigger this year because of what I call the football bump....but I expect similar...

    There is some sort of explanation for this turn of events centered around Auburn's post game celebration. I don't really know what it is, but I think there is some outside pressure from somewhere.

    I understand your frustration, but... sometimes the administration of the band and the athletic dept. look out for the best interest of the students. Reiterating what MF said and adding some more to it, 1) the vast majority of the band is not on scholarships 2) band scholarships do not cover...

    Honest criticism is okay, but when you mess with one, you mess with all. When you insult the director, you insult the band no matter if you say it's not directed at the members. Dr. O and his staff have worked hard on this show. It is okay to disagree with music selection, but don't insult...
