When the Big XII falls apart, I'd be fine with OU coming to the SEC. I was very hopeful aTm would come in during the shake-up y'all recently had, but alas, they just couldn't find their backbone.
OU wouldn't be my 1st choice but they would be OK.
It would be a shock if he went anywhere but Bama. A mother having 2 sons playing at different schools at the same time presents a problem. Plus his visiting his brother several times at the UA will give him a sense of belonging.
UK could have been a football school but they ran the last coach that won an SEC Football Title off when they made it obvious that they were a basketball school that considered football 2ND place.
Re: OT Jawuan James Update (9/28)
I think you are right. He said that Coach Smart had called him ONE time since he decommitted. If the truth was known, the kid wanted to hold his spot with Bama and still look around at other colleges and the rug got pulled from under him giving us a chance a...
For the fans like myself that have to depend on the internet to listen to most of the games it can be picked up on www.730ump.com starting at 3:30 CT according to their web site.
The stipend brings another thought to mind. If stipends were legal would you give them to the people that play sports that do not pay for themselves such as women's basketball or track? If you gave them to the football team players and the men's basketball players and not the others I could...
The point I was trying to make was that I didn't think the napkin deal reached the level of the Administration allowing ineligible players play for 6 years. The UA has never been hit with LOIC and that is what Ga Tech is guilty of doing. Face it, if a player does not pass his courses everyone...
I think Ga Tech got out light compared to what Bama received. We were taken to the cleaners over a player getting $200 for signing a contract on a napkin in a bar after a bowl game. If you read the law suit that is discussed in the other article it implies that the Ga Tech President was...
Article in the AJC says that Ga Tech doesn't like to be punished for cheating over the last several years. http://www.ajc.com/sports/content/gatech/stories/0302appeal. What makes this so funny is that Ga Tech fans think they are above sanctions.
