James says he is still considering Bama and wants to take a visit to Tuscaloosa, but it is not scheduled yet. I still think he will end up at either UGA or Tennessee.

Fluker is listed at 6-6/7 and 350, Robinson is listed as 6-8 330 in high school, Kouandjio is listed at 6-6 320, and James is listed at 6-6 285. If we land Robinson then I don't think James plays tackle at BAMA. Now he could play a different position but I think looking at his size he would fit better in FL's spread, they like leaner OL anyway. Wow looking at this after I posted it, imagine the OL in a couple years if we take Robinson and Kouandjio I know one of them would be Fluker's back up but how about having 2-330lbs+, Boswell is listed right at 300, and so is every1 else Vlachos is like 290 but that is crazy. We would avg. 315lbs across the OL minus the TE's. I think, although I know it will be hard, I can live with that.

Early PT is always an issue. I think Kiffy has told him that will happen at UT and it very well may. James is a good player. If he doesn't come to Bama, Saban will simply reload.

Like we could a few years ago when CNS arrived, UT can honestly sell early PT for OL and QB. Their OL next year will most likely feature at least 1 or 2 true freshmen just because of the # of current seniors and lack of depth.

I do not imagine James has a return feature on an offer from CNS. James is out and I think we only take one more Olineman. I do not think we take two as we are going to pick up some other skill players. Oline has the depth we were looking for. We only lose two players this year and we are going to bring in Sheppard and Lindsay at guard and the third lineman will be a tackle. To keep top olinemen recruits coming onboard, you have to show them future playing time.
In James case, we are probably too stacked at OT with Fluker and Love waiting in the wings. JMO

I think you are right. He said that Coach Smart had called him ONE time since he decommitted. If the truth was known, the kid wanted to hold his spot with Bama and still look around at other colleges and the rug got pulled from under him giving us a chance a get a player that might fit better.

And the negative recruiting will continue to happen. Kiffen, Meyer and anybody else will use this and wear it out like a rented mule.

I have nothing to prove. We will sign two more. If it makes you feel better I will rephrase. We will sign two more O-Lineman IMHO. Better?

What do u you mean extended?? Did they extend for the Harris ordeal?? They haven't made it longer than the 2 yrs they originally handed down for the textbooks have they? This has Lance Thompson's finger prints all over it. The probation excuse is not legitimate at this point.
If James was truthful with the reporter, he would say something like "I'm a little scared of all the competition for playing time I'd be facing over in Tuscaloosa."
