As you might expect, Trump is ****ed.

President Donald Trump lashed out at the five Republican senators who voted to advance legislation that would constrain his war powers in Venezuela on Thursday.

The GOP lawmakers — Rand Paul of Kentucky, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Susan Collins of Maine, Todd Young of Indiana and Josh Hawley of Missouri — joined with the chamber’s entire slate of Democrats to tee up a vote that could compel Trump to seek the approval of Congress before taking any additional military action in Venezuela.

not to worry, jv dance is clarifying everything for us

Vice President Vance called the War Powers Act “fundamentally fake” and unconstitutional, ridiculing the law passed in 1973 shortly after senators on Capitol Hill voted to advance a bipartisan measure to block President Trump from using military force against Venezuela.

“Second of all, as the president, I believe himself, has already said every president, Democrat or Republican, believes the War Powers Act is fundamentally a fake and unconstitutional law,” Vance said during a White House press briefing.

And what if trump chooses to ignore it like he has done with many other laws. Impeachment is obviously not an option since the senate, as constituted today, wil never convict. Even if the mid terms change that can you imagain the uproar (remember 1/6) if the new senate would convict. :(

Yes, but we need a group of legislators to stand up and do the right thing for this country and fling this cretin out of office.
