    Re: WJOX reporting that Tubby gone Very few mentioned scare me, but Venables is a wild card. He is behind much of the Stoops success at OU. Very confident no nonsense approach (much like Saban). Hope they do get Leach, we'd kill that Spread again.

    One guy over on the Husker board said we'd have to borrow people from Miss. That is funny coming the 39th state in population with less than 1.8 million people. BTW, the Heart of Dixie is bigger than over half the states in the Union with over 4.6 million folks residing in Sweet Home Alabama.

    I heard that they are charging because they are also having a rock concert - Springsteen, I think. They can have 500K show up and it will NOT count the same as ours. We just had a FB scrimmage game.

    I go to Legion every Dec for the Super 6 (a 3 day event), never felt threatened or at risk (even at the bars across the road). Bama & Aub dont play in state schools for the egg on your face reason, not the collateral money reason. They need to man up and win the games they are supposed to win...

    I agree! Why give that money to another state? If I were governor I'd try to force UA & AU to play in state schools. If you want to see Legion Field full again let Bama or the Barn play UAB there every other year. Bama ought to play UAB for HC every other year and go back to B'ham the other...

    Re: Early spring depth chart [by JessN] Noticed Corey Reamer in the first slot. Saw him play several times in HS. WOW!!! He was a hitter with a nose for the ball. Great motor and instincts. I always tend to pull for kids that I see play in HS (as if I discovered them,LOL).
