That analogy is so red-neck-barnish it's perfect!!!
But, the problem with this is after the dust settles (on Thursday), you are still "simply the kid with the bleach-blond mohawk" that everyone laughs at when you walk by.
Yes, Auburn, everyone will still be laughing after Thursday!
A #1 hit song!!!
If I understand it correctly, this is how the desired CKD/CRG offense is designed to work. Short completions in space that often lead to bigger gains.
And if you can do this to a team enough, they'll start cheating up and then BOOM, over the top is wide open.
We finally...
I agree...with '41 being the most suspect.
Yet, barners for years griped/made fun of Bama for reaching back and claiming some of those old ones.
But now, what have they done?
Yeah, they are little brother and always will be.
I suspect in time they will become standard use. I think they look silly and that's probably why many players won't wear them.
Tua refuses to, but needs to.
I think the comment about Kellon Russell is promising too. Probably not ready today, but in a crunch they could get him ready in 6 days.
I think it means what most of us believe. KR is the QB of the future at Bama.
I'll say it again. I hope Ty has a breakout year that leads to a 1st round...
I don't blame him for transferring. He signed with CNS to learn under a pro-style offense.
But that's water under the bridge. I'll not root against him, but I'm not rooting for him either.
But I do hope they beat Texas week 1.
I just managed a handful of games in T-town since I've lived in Texas and NC for the last 10 years.
But growing up only an hour from campus, it never got old nor did I ever take it for granted!
If I never go to T-town again, my heart of full of memories from when I was a little boy going to...
Pate has seen something he likes.
I think it may be that he sees the sum may be greater than the parts.
The way this team has rallied after last year's 9-4 embarrassment and they've rallied as a team with no transfers, means they have bought in.
With Crimson Glasses firmly in place:
A loss for Texas will help us more at playoff time (considering it's human nature to think only so many SEC teams should get in). Every loss UT can get is good for us most likely.
An LSU win over Clemson will make a Bama win over LSU at home in Nov. look...
I'v been mulling it over and reading some of the Bama media guys' take on things.
I know Jam was the leading rusher last year...but (as a few others have pointed out) we had a Mickey Mouse offense last year that rarely ever utilized the skill players (other than featuring J. Milroe's legs)...
sCam's greatest asset was his "broken play ability."
I suspect the offensive plan basically became a one-read passing play and if it's not open, they told him to run.
IIRC, the barn was terrible the first 2 or 3 games in 2010...barely winning and looking bad doing so...and then sCam suddenly had his coming out party and the "barn brass" had a "wow" moment.
Even they didn't know he was that freaky. Even though they wanted him for 180K reasons they didn't...
Hate to hear this. A recent pic someone posted of JMiller looked as it he had some bad intentions for this year.
Of course, hope this injury report is wrong.
I guess we'll know more about Daniel Hill's abilities sooner rather than later!
Imagine you are a 4 or 5 star wide receiver and you agree to play at the greatest blue blood of them all but you hit the unlucky lottery of having a QB who can't even get the correct read of the "run" part of the RPO, much less see the field well enough to spot you running (at times) wide open...
