The Irons brothers were probably counting.

Seriously, the box score on ESPN says only 84,000, but Mike Patrick wouldn't lie, would he? ;)

That was the most biased broadcast by ESPN I"ve seen in some time. All the highlights of past Iron Bowls were Auburn. How many times can one show the '72 blocked punt?

After last night and that broadcast I have officially put ESPN on my do NOT watch list! I will be changing my favorites on my remote control... Deleting ESPN and their ENTIRE network! Freaking 100,000 in JH... we all know the barn can't count but that statistic is just WRONG!

You guys that have computer smarts here is a challenge for you....
Can anyone capture the Barner player holding the number six backwards? If someone could capture that image and post a pic we could all use it at work and school tomorrow.

I too was astounded when the announcer said a few times that over 100K was in attendance at the stadium....

Not so, the stadium is not bigger than BDS!

Here's the biggest stadiums in NCAA:

Michigan Stadium: 107,501
Beaver Stadium: 107,282
Ohio Stadium: 102,329
Neyland Stadium: 102,037
Sanford Stadium: 92,746
LA Memorial Coliseum: 92,516
Tiger Stadium: 92,400
Bryant-Denny Stadium: 92,318
Rose Bowl: 91,136
Ben Hill Griffin Stadium: 88,548
Jordan-Hare Stadium: 87,451

Sure, they may have plans to build the stadium to that capacity in the future; but "not" there yet! lol:BigA:

Impossible!

Jordan-Hare Stadium Capacity is only 88K

You can't cram 12,000 + people into the stadium without alot of people sitting on other people's laps...

They had 94K MAX,

You know your right, but that's what I have come to expect when a BAMA games is broadcast on ESPN.....no matter who we are playing they are biased against BAMA.

Enough to give you a complex:pDT_crazy:

Well, at least Bama can beat them in stadium size, because we dang sure can't do it on the football field....... (Still have bad attitude about the game):mad2:

Some observations

1) There were a lot of people standing on the spiral ramps in the corners of the stadium. Whether they "opened it up" like we did for the spring game and overfilled capacity, I do not know, but there were many people there that were not in seats.

2) I laughed at the backward 6 too, but it's the right way around from the other side, where there were stands behind him filled with fans to see it.

3) Not once did I notice Tuberville yelling at officials to put time back on the clock after a play.

4) ESPN announcers still can't get their facts straight, whether it's repeatedly butchering player names, or mixing up team names.

5) I saw as many references to "The Kick" as I did to "Punt Bama Punt"
