  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

It is interesting to me that Mike Locksley really isn’t mentioned as being on the hot seat when discussing coaching carousel. He dropped a bad one to Rutgers; Maryland is 4-5.

as expected, most of the cult wants Durkin as their HC! the ones that support him are defending him despite the worst performance on defense this season. Pavia as they claim was the difference, they got more penalties because SEC refs want Vandy in the playoffs. they are so predictable. LOL!!

Being the head coach takes it’s toll on your defensive game planning.

Did anyone catch this fake punt by USC Friday night in the USC - Northwestern game? When the broadcast crew began discussing the “deception” (they thought it was actually the punter Sam Johnson. Turned out it was third string QB Sam Huard wearing the same number 80 as Johnson), I immediately thought “you can’t have two players playing the same position with the same number. It’s illegal deception and an unsportsmanlike penalty”.

Turns out I was correct.

The broadcast team was lauding the “brilliance” of the play. I guess Oklahoma connections like Riley and Venables live by the motto “if you ain’t cheating’, you ain’t tryin’”.

How does that even happen? You could not set that up if you tried.

I will answer my own question. It happens because your league SUCKS and lacks competitiveness. I do not doubt the overall ability of Ohio State or Indiana. They are both serious contenders to win the playoff. But the Big Ten is barely better than the ACC beyond those 2.

The flip side to that is that the Big 10 has done everything to make sure its top teams make the playoff and get the bye...

Where as the SEC appears to have tried to kill us between our schedule and everyone having a bye before us.

Crazy... And now they've been suckered in to adding a 9th game.
