That's a fun game to watch. Barker did nothing to help, throwing two picks and little else. David Palmer, the Bookends, Teague . . watching them will make you realize how good the '11 defense is. The '92 team had headhunters and playmakers, but they gave up more yards in that championship game. Granted, they were going against a better offense in Miami. I used to think it would be hard to find a more satisfying win than that game, but I like the '11 BCS game more now.

(I realize Palmer wasn't on Defense . . I was just remembering the players). The offense barely did anything other than run the football down their throat--that in and of itself is glorious to watch.

I was in the Dome that night. Miami was SO cocky. That was as much fun as I've had at a Bama game.

p.s. - scored some HUGE son-in-law points that night, as I took my pa-in-law. (mrs. exiled couldn't make it; though she did go when Miami beat us in the Curry era.)

I remember watching the Miami vs syracuse game before the season ended. Syracuse almost pulled the upset and was running up and down the field on Miami. I kept thinking to myself man if we get these guys we have a great shot at kicking their but cuz if they think cuse runs a lot and is good at it wait till they see Bama. And there I was in a strip club in Jax,Fl with a know it all grin watching Bama kick miamis butt surrounded by Miami fans. It was a great night.

I wasn't in the Dome on Jan 9, but I was there for Miami in 1993. One of the great nights of my life. When Teague intecepted the pass and ran it in, I thought the roof was coming off it was so loud.
