Congratulations Brett. I've only been a member for the past 2 years but look forward to many enjoyable more. Thanks for putting together and maintaining a great site from top to bottom.
Thank you for allowing us to have and use these forums. 20,000+ is a great number. At some point over the weekend, we hit the 20,000 registered members mark! As of 5 minutes ago, we're at 20,054 members.
Of course, not all of the 20,054 are active posters (many have never posted, etc). However, I think this is quite an achievement for the wonderful members who have welcomed so many new members over the years.
I would LOVE to see more people posting each and every day. So, if you're a member that has fewer than 50 posts, why not make it a point this week - IRON BOWL WEEK - to jump in with both feet. The water feels just fine
Again, thanks to everyone who, over the last 10 years, has posted. Many thanks to the longtime members and frequent posters. Thanks to our moderators and loyal admins who work so hard to keep the forums at a high level of quality that makes so many folks want to join in the fun.
I appreciate each and every one of you - even the few folks who occasionally make me want to pull my hair out
RTR!
Brett
Can the man get a witness?!?on a more serious note- being on other message boards makes me appreciate this one so much more. there are a lot of boards that tolerate a tremendous amount of stupidity and im glad this one cracks down on it and keeps it to a reasonable level.
1996?!? Had Al Gore even invented teh innerwebs then?Being so far away from the holy land, I can't even begin to tell you how valuable this site is to me I don't even know any other Bama fans other than those I've met here. Tidefans is my opportunity to be a part of the tradition of being a fan of Alabama football.
I joined back in the late 90's- I think in 1996 in the week leading up to the Tennessee game. It's amazing how much TideFans has grown and evolved.
My thanks to you Brett and to Tide HSV and other mods and admin for a job very, very well done. The 'process' has evolved just as successfully here as it has on the field and for the same reason- great leadership.
Welcome, Bullwinkle!First time poster, long time looker/lurker. This has to be the best site around. It's the only one I go to anymore. To all the Mods- THANKS:BigA:
Having a life during football season is way overrated. Thanks for stealing my life, Brett.
We've contracted WKRP. Les Nessman will be dropping them off. :wink:Great news, Now are our Christmas turkeys coming UPS or FedEx?![]()
