Congratulations Brett. I've only been a member for the past 2 years but look forward to many enjoyable more. Thanks for putting together and maintaining a great site from top to bottom.

At some point over the weekend, we hit the 20,000 registered members mark! As of 5 minutes ago, we're at 20,054 members.

Of course, not all of the 20,054 are active posters (many have never posted, etc). However, I think this is quite an achievement for the wonderful members who have welcomed so many new members over the years.

I would LOVE to see more people posting each and every day. So, if you're a member that has fewer than 50 posts, why not make it a point this week - IRON BOWL WEEK - to jump in with both feet. The water feels just fine :)

Again, thanks to everyone who, over the last 10 years, has posted. Many thanks to the longtime members and frequent posters. Thanks to our moderators and loyal admins who work so hard to keep the forums at a high level of quality that makes so many folks want to join in the fun.

I appreciate each and every one of you - even the few folks who occasionally make me want to pull my hair out :D

RTR!

Brett
Thank you for allowing us to have and use these forums. 20,000+ is a great number.

This is the only site that I go to just about everyday. Maybe just miss a few days out the year. No matter my personal thoughts of some posters there are alot of intelligent people on this board. Have learned alot about more than just football. Roll Tide!!!!!!!!:)

Being so far away from the holy land, I can't even begin to tell you how valuable this site is to me I don't even know any other Bama fans other than those I've met here. Tidefans is my opportunity to be a part of the tradition of being a fan of Alabama football.

I joined back in the late 90's- I think in 1996 in the week leading up to the Tennessee game. It's amazing how much TideFans has grown and evolved.

My thanks to you Brett and to Tide HSV and other mods and admin for a job very, very well done. The 'process' has evolved just as successfully here as it has on the field and for the same reason- great leadership.

Thanks. I kept trying to find one of Bullwinkle throwing Rocky in the football game but didn't find what I wanted. Been reading for 5 or 6 years and have been very impressed with the knowledge (and humor) from the mods and posters. :BigA:

Brett, congratulations on the milestone. It only makes sense that the best Tide forum should grow at such a healthy pace. I appreciate your vision to assemble a great team to administer and moderate this site. I love this place and spent too much time here. It's addictive.

B,
Congrats my friend. Been a few moons since the ol' AOL webring and a 4 cylinder server.
To Tidefans...
My job requires me to speak with national media reps on a daily basis and I can tell you some of those guys get their story ideas from threads on TideFans.com

Additionally, many of you would be surprised if Brett told you of some of the famous members who have registered and that doesn't even count the ones who just visit. There is a particular morning talk show host on MSNBC who has been known to repeat some things that have been stated on this site.

There's not a FREE site on the internet that covers a program like TideFans covers THE University of Alabama and college football in general. On several occasions Brett has had offers that would have made him a nice sum of money, however, because those offers included changing the structure of this site he chose not to cash in. When Brett Young tells you THE University of Alabama, this site and its members are priceless to him, he means it.

Jess' knowledge and insight is unmatched. You may not always agree with him but one thing can always be said about Jess, he tells the BamaNation what we need to hear and not what we want to hear.

I'm sure Brett would agree, this site is what it is because of its great moderators and members. With the exception of Earle, Brett has signed the top moderation class for 10 years running. Seriously, Earle has forgotten more about our great university than most of us will ever know.

While my job often takes me away from home I feel like I'm never far away as long as I can get a strong shot of TideFans.

Thanks to all for making this the best site on the internet.

This site gets me through many boring days at work. While I cant post from inside the firewall, I sure do follow the threads. Ive been a member since the Mike Price debacle. This is the best site around. So many people with such awesome knowledge and insight. This site is the first site I go to daily and the last one I go to before I go to bed. EVERYONE involved with this site, from the benevolent dictator himself, on to Jess and all the mods...thanks for all you do! You guys make it what it is.

Congrats Tidefans!

We've contracted WKRP. Les Nessman will be dropping them off.

Brett, thank you for the well-monitored and moderated site. It is my great pleasure to come here and be a goofball for your entertainment.

And I'm sorry I called you Jess that time. Although it might happen again. :Joker_PDT_37:
