Very proud of this team.

The offensive line: was supposed to be a rebuilding year after the loss of two All-Americans. They dominated Florida and grew stronger as the game wore on.

Greg McElroy: weren't we supposed to suffer because of the loss of a 3-year starter? McElroy is a winner and he does what it takes.

Ingram: We knew that he was good, but most expected that he would be lucky to keep Richardson from displacing him by mid-season. There was no drop-off from the loss of Coffee and Ingram has the better after-contact performance. Richardson just adds insult to injury when he comes in to continue the punishment.

Maze: What a great game for him. He's becoming the big-play threat.

The defense: they're just unbelievable and they're going to emasculate whomever they face in Pasadena.

We really did "throttle" them. That was complete domination. What a game and what a team! It is awesome to be an Alabama fan!

Some on here, called it. I specifically remember GCT after the Mississippi State game, but I never saw us ripping Florida's guts out like that...I mean, 490 yards of offense...what a special team this turned out to be.

Anybody catch the ESPN summary at half of ACC game. Cant' help but laugh but they showed the play where GMAC tiptoes down the sideline to get the first and of course Rece and Mark May applaud the effort. Granny Holtz....."that's the fault of the refs right there, players too worried about getting flagged for hit close to the sidelines". :conf2::conf2::conf2::rolleye2:
Otherwise they praised us pretty highly and rightfully so.

What an amazing performance by the players and coaches. Best win in 17 years. This one is very sweet -- biggest SECCG in history, derailing a dynasty, knocking off Superman.

I also have some crow I will gladly eat -- I picked the Gators 20-16. :redface:

I, um, will also say that my second guess was that we'd have an amazing gameplan, come out highly motivated, and win fairly comfortably. Believe me? Didn't think so. :wink:

It has been a great day for Alabama football, but I hope our guys realize that the job isn't done. I'm guessing they will enjoy winning the 22nd SEC title for a few days, and then they will turn their focus on winning number 13. Roll Tide!

mrs. exiled was chanting this as the game wound down.

I dug that everyone from Coach Saban down to all the guys cams across as "nice win, but we have one more to go to achieve our goals..." Very business-like. I *love* it.

I haven't seen anyone give PJ props for saving a TD with a good solo takedown of the most dangerous returner east of Javier. Glad Saban has everyone practicing those trackling drills!

Oh my, What a performance in all facets of the game! The thing I was worried about was kick off coverage, and the coaching staff had the players ready and focused on the task at hand, I don't think they broke any long runs against us on special teams on punts or kickoffs! Kudos on working on that guys and rtr!!!! On to Pasadena!!!! :BigA:

Forget Tebow crying. I had tears in my eyes as i saw our guys get that trophy. I'm so damned proud of this team, and my University. Roll Tide.

I know exactly what you mean...was such an awesome game to see. Just hope that the voters see to it that we get our championship shot at those losers Texas that did all they could to squeak by Nebraska tonite!!! Can I get a "Roll Tide"?????
