Kyle Kennedy (2011), inside lnebacker from Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, has no offer yet, but he says he is getting lots of mail from the Tide. He was invited to a couple of games, but could not make it.

Demopolis RB DaMarcus James is one to keep an eye on.

TUSCALOOSA - DaMarcus James was above average Thursday in a 27-14 victory in the Class 5A finals against Russellville at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

His playoff rushing average of 236 yards per game, that is.

James came into play with 945 rushing yards in the first four rounds of the playoffs. He shredded the Golden Tigers like they were Paper Tigers for a 5A-record 293 yards at the Super 6.
