Just curious what people think the election returns will look like 6 months from now. I like to make predictions in things that are often so unpredictable a few months out to see how things pan out. Conventional wisdom is saying a close race will happen. I rarely go with that so I'll start the ball rolling and go 321-217 for Romney. I don't think 2010 was some fluke. I think the Dems overreached big-time with their agenda of "fundamental transformation" for America.

It'll be a lot closer than that differential.

I picked Obama over Romney over 6 months ago. I'll stand by that. 280-258.

They have the following as swing states:

Colorado
Nevada
Florida
Ohio
Pennsylvania
New Hampshire
Iowa
Virginia
North Carolina

Personally I see Wisconsin and New Mexico in that toss-up category as well.

3-3 with the rest of the electoral college refusing to place a vote for either of these two pathetic candidates.

I can dream can't I?

I have no idea how this thing is going to shake out. I'm afraid we'll be stuck with O for another four years, but I'd also be pretty afraid to have ol' Mitt for four years (mostly because I'm not sure who we'd be getting, really). Unless Mitt finds a way to be sincerely more appealing to the centrists, he won't win.
