Have spoken with his Dad a number of times. Apparently, Justin ran in the 4.2 range on two separate occasions this past summer.

His Dad was quite the athlete himself. Track, I believe.

He can fly and is the perfect build for a CB. I think he has a lot in common with J. Washington from this year's class. I'm hoping the coaching staff at PHS will get a clue and put this kid in the defensive backfield next season, he has no business at QB unless we're running georgia tech's offense.

I just now saw Cecil Hurt's Tweet on it, good pickup. Scout has him down as 4.34 forty. He had just got a commit offer from Florida, I guess he just wanted to shut all the recruiting down.

Oh come on, we know Dubose knows what he is doing.

Good pick up. Kid has speed and moves. First time I saw him play was last year in the state championshp game against Hoover. He made one Hoover player's knees break with his moves.

Great commit! You can't coach speed! I see him as possibly wildcat QB, wide receiver, punt returner, and or cornerback. Endless possibilities with that kind of speed!

There seems to be a real emphasis on speed, from our coaching staff. I like it. Welcome, Mr. Thomas.

I believe he will probably end up as a receiver/wildcat QB or a DB but one of the reasons he chose Bama is because CNS told him he will get a shot to play QB. Miami and UF both recruited him hard as a QB and LSU recruited him as a Wildcat QB.

ANDREW BONE: Alabama lands commitment | TideSports.com
Thomas, 5-foot-11, 180-pounds, becomes the second player from Prattville to commit to the Tide in the class of 2012. Caleb Gulledge, a defensive end, committed in early October. The class also has members from four-star safety Eddie Williams from Arnold High School in Panama City, Fla., and Dakota Ball, four-star defensive tackle from Pepperell High School in Lindale, Ga.
