I don't think he could poach much. Maybe a couple of position coaches as coordinators, and an analyst/GA or two for position coaches.
To that point Sark is different than Pruitt, Kirby etc in that he’s been a HC at two other P5 schools and in ATL. I’m sure he has his own network of coaches unlike the others I mentioned.
Honestly, Just can’t see him taking that job after CNS has twice given him the opportunity he has.

Considering the difference in the money, the celebrity, and the independence of being a head coach or O.C. I don't think that would have any bearing on Sarkisian's decision. Moreover, I doubt Saban would fault him if he took the job. That said, I have read that Troy Calhoun may have been offered the job.

I don't believe he was an NFL HC...

Troy or Bert from what I have read are the finalists

I just read Butch Jones was promoted to "Special Assistant to the Head Coach". I wonder what this will involve. I am glad he is staying on staff, as the players seem to really like him.

Who was the Special Assistant to the Head Coach last year? I can't recall. I guess this opens up the position for Charlie Strong, unless we are about to get another analyst in addition to him. RTR.

I've given up on thinking coaching is the kicking problem. I think it's the football gods simply saying "You can't be good at everything" and making our thorn in our side the kicking game. It doesn't matter the coach, the level of prospect. Once they get in a game the same thing happens.
Considering we were a cool 66% (12/18) on FGs this year and our opponents made 100% of their kicks, yeah...the Gods of Football must have a role.

And, let's have your kicker pull something while kicking the tee . . .
