nice pickup. looks very fluid from that video. also looks very lean. will need to add some serious weight and muscle. if that is recent video, i wonder how much he'll be able to contribute this year. very late addition, so no off season work in weight room.
Lets see, he is a 6' 11" athletic, ball handling, 3 pt shooting rim protector. Nobody on our roster is close to this so he will be a major contributor. Will need work in the weight room but........

i agree that he is skilled and is a nice addition. however, he would have been a senior in hs this year. combine that with being added late and not getting to work with the training staff, and he is really going to need to do some work to catch up. i truly hope he can.

When you are almost 7 feet tall weight doesn't matter as much. Remember Manute Bol? Dude was the skinniest big I've ever seen and he made it to the NBA.

You can't teach speed or height, right? Sure, other bigs might push him around a little bit inside but if they are forced to guard him on the perimeter (CNO scheme) he'll embarrass them.

I say he's a day 1 starter or 1st off the bench kinda guy, right now.

i hope you're right. really need help on the inside and neither jones nor bruner can play the whole game. i like davis, but he struggled a bit last year. reese's effort concerns me. would be great to have another body to rotate in that fits CNO's style.

Well I guess I got my answer with the transfer news today.
lol knowing the surprises this staff can come up with, I wouldn't be to sure yet lol
I'ma just wait til the official word. Just a few weeks ago, I never thought we would have pulled Alex Tchikou so right now, I'm just going to wait and see what the official word is lol

247 is now showing Charles Bediako as 100% to Bama. Has been a lean for quite a while and having both Primo and Ambrose-Hylton on the roster has probably helped. Would be a terrific pickup (#3 center and #20 overall per 247 composite). Keeping the Canadian pipeline open.

It would be sweet to have Bediako and Frentchie protecting the rim in a couple of years. Close him CNO and Bryan Hodgson.

Davidson, Smith and Bediako are absolute needs for this class. We are looking at the possibility of losing at least 3-6 players after this season and all three will go a long way in re-establishing as a competitive program. Also those three will be the foundation of a top 10 class.

Nice size at 7'0" and 215 lbs. Embedded video on that link blocked by my anti-virus so I couldn't watch, but I did locate this MSU article: https://247sports.com/Article/Missi...021-juco-center-Souleymane-Doumbia-150008661/. Sounds like an intriguing prospect.
He is dominant in this video. Looks to be more of a post player but the kid can run, jump and uses both his right and left hands nicely. Would be a quality get IMO.

We made Doumbia's top 8! He ... is ... a ... beast

Well, fine then. I had hoped to not worry too much about not being able to see the video, but two different posts talking about him being "a beast" and "dominant" are too much for my curiosity. Guess I'm going to have to find another way to view...
