So can y’all tell me why Mims is so favored to go to Georgia? I don’t see anywhere on 247 that’s says he made unofficial visits or named them a leader. So why are they favored? Other then the home state team.

It's the home state team is the main reason and our OT's we have committed recently. However, as I have said before, he named us his leader a few months ago and his family is Bama. Some have counted us out but I am going to hold out hope that we get him and have a ridiculous OL class.

I think he would be committed to UGA by now if Sam Pittman hadn't left UGA to become the head coach at Arkansas. They are the home state school, he's visited them a lot (he was actually there a few weeks ago with Brock Vandergriff), and he is close with UGA's five star QB commit (Vandergriff).

i never question a kid that stays home to play for the home state, but he did grow up as a bama fan. maybe just maybe he comes our way.

He’s like minkah Fitzpatrick so great and gifted athletically he could play both at a high level. Imo.

I see where Mims is delaying his commitment by two months. This is reportedly to set his announcement on his birthday so don't know if this changes anything with his decision.

I would think he is torn and this is a good sign for us. He may end up picking UGA but he is thinking about us a lot.

I would take your list right now but hoping Mims is the other OL and Marshall is one of the CB's.

One of the other three hopefully is a highly rated QB since we definitely need one with only three on scholarship.

Possibly the 5* RB Wheaton and another TE since we only had one in last years class.

The RB room is loaded and we do have a bunch of bodies. 5*'s are very confident in most cases.
