Seriously though, if Burton had made 3 good catches today, I'd probably have been singing his praises. I hope he does improve. He's supposed to be at this point, our number 1 receiver. Instead he's around #5 or so.

I don’t need you to sing his praises it just gets exhausting to listen to all this over and over and over. Like we get it burnton isn’t having.a good day. I am not gonna spar with you but I feel like constantly dumping on a guy and then when he actually does something good give some backhand compliment is just kind of crappy dude.

Love that Milroe kept on. I like this guy's guts. Hope he improves his passing. Likely, he'll be QB 1 in Game 1.

No one else is even in that conversation. Lot of great effort though. Was impressed with the defense. Honestly, our receivers as a whole did improve.

I’ve been beating this horse for at least two years - LSU won it all with receivers who dropped NOTHING. I’ve lamented after every season about where Bama could have finished with receivers who just caught what hit them in the hands. They can make an All Pro QB look like an 8th grader. JW dropped a few, I don’t remember JM dropping many but whoever we played at TE was seemingly always dropping one or two a game.
I’ve never been that impressed with Burton. I’m hoping the rest of this group steps up because BY ain’t at QB this year; whoever will be can’t have guys dropping balls.

I saw a lot of good from today…and a lot still to work on. I never take that much away from A-day apparently I am in the minority about that but that’s ok. Yeah drops need to be addressed..the lack of of penalties was really good as well as a DB play.

Tired of hearing about Kirby Smart. Why is it that Bama's team is not tired of hearing about these guys?

Well, IMHO, they need to KEEP ON hearing about Kirby Smart and UGA. Somebody needs to be in their ear every damn day saying something to the effect, "Look at those guys. That`s what Alabama football USED to look like! " until they get good and sick of hearing it and decide to do something about it.
