Careful now. The article said "best situated to make an instant impact", not "will make an impact".

I’m all for second (or third or fourth) chances but I would prefer this guy to not make his way to Tuscaloosa. Seems like what you don’t want in the locker room.

TJ, I actually believe this is his third time in the portal. Signed with LSU, entered portal, committed and left portal for Florida. He then re-entered before ever enrolling in Gainesville, then signed with UGA. Now he is back in.

Given his personal issues (and home being Marietta) I understand somewhat his UGA decision. But from an opportunity standpoint, it didn’t really make sense. With Bowers and Washington on the roster and a couple blue chips at TE coming in, his opportunity for PT was going to be limited.

And going back to his personal/mental health issues, Arik would probably be better served focusing more on getting better as a person and less on getting better as a football player.

I saw an LSU guy tweeting out 2 plays during a camp or AA practice showing Branch and another receiver beating Ricks in drills. I guess they are saying he is nit that good, anyway

You could find film of some kind if you looked hard enough showing every DB that`s ever played the game getting beat.

On another subject, Richard Young's high school coach is joining Prime at Colorado. Since Young's already signed is that anything to be concerned about, at least in the short term? BTW, the coaches were team mates at FSU.
