I think the convention was a big hit for the Democrats.

These events are supposed to be like a big pep rally.

They achieved that a million times over.

Nothing else the detractors are saying really matters, IMHO.

Congrats to a party who was facing some very bleak times not long ago....I know they are fired up...and rightly so!

NEW: Jon Stewart calls out the hypocrisy from the DNC for how they celebrated people who "prosecuted s*xual predators" but also had Bill Clinton give a speech.

These people all know the DNC is playing them as fools yet they will still cast their votes for Democrats.

“They had a guy (Bernie) yelling screw the billionaires followed immediately by a very happy billionaire (Pritzker).”

“They had guys making fun of people going to Yale in front of a bunch of people who went to Yale.”

“The Democrats had people who prosecuted s*xual predators, and [Stewart shows a photo of Bill Clinton]”

Also, there are a great many Jews, here, in Israel and across the world, are enraged with Netanyahu. I am because I can't stand what he's doing right now, plus, I believe he should be in jail. He is most certainly not helping Jews or Israel. I am extremely pro-Israel and a Zionist. I believe wholeheartedly in the need for the Jewish Homeland. Bibi is only ensuring that the clear hatred and bitterness already on fire in the Middle East will get far worse as well as creating even more antisemitism than there already was around the world. He also runs the risk of eventually burning his bridges with his very much needed allies. His first moves on this, I understood. Now, no. And I'm not alone on this.
I believe one can be pro-Israel and anti_Netanyahu as well as pro-Palestinian and anti-Hamas. As is far too common these days, both sides have given power to their most extreme elements. Netanyahu thinks he needs this conflict to remain in power and avoid a corruption conviction. Hamas simply doesn't care about the people of Gaza.

Why let the killing of the little people get in the way of your great political plans to save those same little people? Am I right, or am I right?
