If I believed in conspiracy theories, I would start one that JD Vance is a plant to ruin Trump's political career and chances of winning this election.

There is no way to have a national vote at this point. I do think it would have been better if Biden had dropped out a year ago so we could have had an actual vote but it is what it is.
