Fair and mostly similar to the Coaches Poll

Imo Ole Miss will not be a Top 10 team with Golding

I don’t think LSU will be a Playoff team either but their schedule is not super difficult so we’ll see.

Just a gut feeling but I could see Texas having a full on come apart and be lucky to end the year ranked. They have a pretty difficult schedule and sky high expectations.

Alot of sports writers have questions about Bama this year. I suppose the fans do as well. I'll take 13 and pray we are much better than other people think

In today's environment, my philosophy is, just get in the playoffs. Rankings even more pointless.

I would love to see lsu and kiffin fail miserably, but they have talent and a favorable schedule.

I can definitely see sexat having a complete meltdown. and it would be glorious.

Not surprising. They would have had us out of the top 25 if they could get away with it.

#13 is a good place to be. It's no so high we get full of ourselves and it's low enough to provide some motivation. Although, ideally, I hope our players are not looking at the preseason rankings because they're completely meaningless.

LSU is nothing but a KIffin and NIL spending bump. They like the coach better and they are spending tons of money. I think they are top 5 in NIL spending.

Wish casting, Alabama may not be preseason top 10 but they should be ahead of several teams in front of them. LSU, ND, Texas, A&M every year get the benefit of the doubt. Just think they are all ahead of Alabama but none of the did better last year. Let me guess , transfer portal and the ESPN hype machine. Plenty of questions for the team that brings in 40 plus players and a hurt QB but a preseason playoff team. SMH

For the AP? They’re never meaningful. But, yes, by week 6 you have a better idea of who the better teams are if you’re going to put out a ranking

Funny thing about polls. They are created for fans so fans can give the feedback content generating material that the media can feed back into the loop to keep the buzz going. Best to ignore them so these snoozers get what they deserve, nothing.

Rankings were invented the day after sports were invented. David beating Goliath was considered an upset because Goliath was ranked higher.
