He's a good kid. The writing was on the wall when he transferred twice in two years since he left Buckhorn. It felt like he cared more about NIL money than being developed at this point. He's gonna be real good player for college level, but he got some work to do.
Odds are he will be one and done but if for some reason he isn't I'd also put my money on him transferring. This whole thing reminds me a lot of Philon's recruitment. I don't see him flipping back to us like Philon did and asking for a release but it wouldn't shock me either.

Just a player I like. He defends really well, has good ball handling skills, and is a good rebounder. His 3 point efficiency needs some improvement but he has the skill set to thrive in Oats system as a shooting guard who could run point if needed. Oats prefers to recruit "position less players" and Andrej fits that mold. I would put him as a more skilled slightly less physical Amari Allen.
On another site, there's a little quiet confidence Holt could still possibly be swayed...especially in UNC takes a run at Loyde.
The whole team is legit, been fun covering them this whole season. They lost to this same Sylacuga team by one point in the semis after leading by 10 points at halftime. They were focused on this moment all year. They have a legit chance to repeat too.
A big man not afraid of contact. That would be my dream. Cliff was the closest we have gotten to that and even he wasn't the most physical.
I know these guys don't grow on trees but a Victor Wembanyama prototype is the ideal type Center in Oats style. Someone who is elite at rebounding and rim protection but also has the skill set to shoot 3's and win off the dribble. Not sure how many of those types exist in the world but you would think we could find one and that person would also see how Alabama would be the perfect fit for them.
