2026 Roster Changes (transfers, draft, etc.)

Riley Quick selected by the Twins in the Comp A round with the 36th overall pick -- approximate pick value of 2.69 million
Could have quite a few guys going in the draft today, both current players and incoming signees. AFAIK, the big "risks" for signees are Myles Upchurch, Ma'kale Holden, and Eric Hines.
Works been busy today, so I'm trying to catch up from all the draft news that I've missed.
Kade Snell drafted by the Cubs in the 5th round with the 151st overall pick -- approximate pick value of $465,400
Richie Bonomolo Jr drafted by the Yankees in the 7th rounds with the 224th pick -- approximate pick value of $252,100.

Caleb Barnett, Bama commitment, drafted by the Cubs. Sounds like he will be coming to Tuscaloosa.

Outgoing transfer Jonathon Stevens drafted by the Twins in the 16th round at pick 479.
Incoming transfer Griffin Stieg drafted by the Mariners in the 18th round at pick 542.
Incoming freshman Myles Upchurch drafted by the Reds in the 19th round at pick 564.
Incoming freshman Caleb Barnett drafted by the Cubs in the 19th round at pick 571.
Incoming freshman Ma'Kale Holden drafted by the Brewers in the 20th round at pick 605.

So now we just wait and see who signs. Players and teams have until July 28th at 5:00 pm ET to work out a deal.

Caleb Barnett has already indicated to AL.com that he plans to come to UA.
Myles Upchurch seemingly tweeted implying the same thing, but that was before he was drafted in the 19th, so we'll see if that holds or if the Reds make a major run at hitting his "number."
The only guy really "up in the air" at this point, IMO, is Ma'Kale Holden. I can't find anything one way or the other what his thoughts are. Hopefully, he decides to bet on getting himself into a top draft pick, but if the Brewers offer up some outrageous money in the 20th, that could be hard to pass up.
My expectations are that everyone else will sign (Quick, Snell, Richie, Stieg).
