Unfortunately I would say that the legacy of this particular team was that when we felt good we played good, but when we didn't feel great we absolutely folded. The inability to find rhythm in a game when we didn't arrive with it was far from elite. We were either really good or really mediocre. Hard to find your way back into a game when there is nothing to fall back on to just get a few yards consistently to alter the flow of the game. That to me is where the inability to run the ball hurt more than anything. We could never take the sting out of another team in rhythm.our one-dimensional offense would have been a bit more effective. so many drives were killed this year with dropped balls.
i don't think we would have ultimately won the re-match, but the seccg would likely have been a much more competitive game had horton held onto that first down catch the play before ty's interception. that interception opened the floodgates of uga derp and we rolled up into a ball
Obviously the O-line was dreadful this year, but what made them so disappointing in my opinion was that most O-Lines would have taken the constant shots at them personally and showed some growth just out of pride, but we just kept showing up and that was it.
