our one-dimensional offense would have been a bit more effective. so many drives were killed this year with dropped balls.

i don't think we would have ultimately won the re-match, but the seccg would likely have been a much more competitive game had horton held onto that first down catch the play before ty's interception. that interception opened the floodgates of uga derp and we rolled up into a ball
Unfortunately I would say that the legacy of this particular team was that when we felt good we played good, but when we didn't feel great we absolutely folded. The inability to find rhythm in a game when we didn't arrive with it was far from elite. We were either really good or really mediocre. Hard to find your way back into a game when there is nothing to fall back on to just get a few yards consistently to alter the flow of the game. That to me is where the inability to run the ball hurt more than anything. We could never take the sting out of another team in rhythm.

Obviously the O-line was dreadful this year, but what made them so disappointing in my opinion was that most O-Lines would have taken the constant shots at them personally and showed some growth just out of pride, but we just kept showing up and that was it.

yep.

flaws and all, they did seem to play much more as a cohesive team though. and we seemed to have a lot fewer stupid penalties (granted we shot ourselves in the foot plenty of other ways). i was really impressed with them several times throughout the year, which i could not say about last year's team outside of the uga and lsu wins

DeBoer is going to have to bring the highs down a little bit, and bring the lows up some. He’s got to find a more even keel for the team.

Not sure how I feel about this yet. I just assumed that his next step would be to the league…I’m ok w/him moving on I think? Just not to somewhere it could bite us in the backside…I hate this state of CFB.
Don't like that tennessee is an option, but that is his home state. My preference is NFL for him.

I’m not sure this is true.

I can’t find anything about a Tom Loy from 247 saying this.

I can only find an IG and FB link and a Threads mirror of this X post.

If this were true it would be all over the internet.

Especially since it starts with "trending". I am not internet savvy, but pretty sure that means everyone is talking about it.

True…and the “could” and “if” basically make this statement a nothing burger…glad I put thought into it…

That really stinks about Ty. I really thought his only options would be come back to Bama, for another year, or go pro. Didn’t consider the portal as an option as much as he loves Bama. And to even mention the puke orange team as an option is sickening to us old hats. Disliking the state of college football more and more.

I wouldn’t be shocked by any of it but I just don’t think it’s truly leaked yet.

I wouldn’t even try to make a 100% accurate guess of what he does.

I think if he got a 1st round grade he’s definitely gone because it would just be too risky to come back and not have an improved season.

Getting a 2nd round grade and who knows.

He might still go. He might come back for us or he might transfer.

If he doesn’t come back to us and transfers though it’s gotta be because we initiated it and most likely plan to go all in on KR.

Teams are throwing all kinds of offers at him apparently.

The off-seasons are such a drama fest now.
