I said nothing of the sort. And I am certainly not one on here with a narrow mindset.

I'd like to see more OL and DL signed. We must correct those or we wont be any better next year than this year.

Nah, just have a lot of passionate fans on this site. Good stuff really. Just have to be patient with the transfer portal news. Heck, there were 12 guys that entered so far today, Sunday, and there will be a slew of others by the deadline Friday then even more after the canes lose to IOU. I am hopeful we can get some good additions in this cycle as the staff knows pretty much what has to be done to compete at the Capstone.

His perspective could quite literally be directed toward either side of the spectrum…the “Doom and Gloom” or the “rainbows and Unicorns” camps.

I’m watching in real time, as the “vocal minority” from both sides of the issue continue to repeat their position over and over and over…saying the same thing in a million different ways…as if saying it one more time might finally validate their feelings, and cause those across the fence to finally acquiesce.

Fascinatingly, it’s the same scenario we see played out over and over on national, as well as world issues. Human Beings are amazingly complex, yet amazingly predictable…which is why “Psy-Ops” has always been effective throughout human history.

This thread has been quite interesting to read.... lot of emotional takes here.

Just a quick reminder: Just because portal closes on Friday, doesn't mean we stop signing players. It'll continue throughout spring and summer. The staff is not going to fill 105 spots. But they're going to probably stop around maybe 90s area. They're targeting the portal for two reasons: Potential Starters and quality depth.

The portal isn't not trending in a bad way for Tide...

Smothers did Alabama dirty for the way he handled this. At this point, the staff should rescind his offer, and I'm not worried about him.

We should hear the news on some players today... So just breath, enjoy your day and watch Eagles and Hurts play today. Eat some good food. Take a break from talking about CKD for a while.

Agreed. Felt like I was already treading close enough to non-sports so I didn't go further, plus I didn't want to hijack the thread.

I don’t know. But it happens all the time from what I’m told. TBH it will be all about what comes out of it if he should decommitt. If we snag a big fish and some other good players it will be forgotten by everyone but the Anti DeBoer regime, but should we get a so so roster upgrade then the complaints will get louder.
