Very curious how much this Colorado OT and Missouri Edge get. I assume they'll both go to one of the usual suspects with money. Texas School of some kind, Miami, or Oregon. Maybe Ohio State
Seaton was big time coming out of high school, he “shocked” people by going to Colorado. The only “shock” recruiting people had is that he would sabotage his career like that.

I’m a little leery of guys that buy into Prime’s nonsense.

So Morgan is a complete failure for assembling a team that makes the playoffs with the lowest NIL expense? Shocking.

Staff is doing what they are paid to do: be efficient with the money.
Fair. But… we are assuming they spent it all. Why would you not? Especially if this is RevShare. So if their job is to spend all of the money and not a penny anymore, then yes they’re doing a great job

Where we seem to be further and further behind is on the NIL side.

I'd guess Seaton from Colorado and Wilson from Missouri are both absolute premium priced in NIL.

Seaton is the best overall OT in the portal.....Wilson is the #2 overall DE in the portal behind Chaz Coleman.

I doubt we could afford both.

Raiola to Oregon…they now have 2 of the best 3
QBs in the country (supposedly) on their roster. Yes, Moore should go to the league, but he may not. So most teams are struggling but Oregon opened up the checkbook. Phil Knight said he wants a title before he dies and opened it up…how is this allowed?

If they win a championship with Raiola "Wannabe Mahomes" at QB and I'll buy you a steak dinner...

That kid’s a piece of work…3 high schools…ended up @ Buford right down the road…most entitled punk I’ve seen in HS football…and his 3* little brother is horrible, but he’ll get looks too…
He is the definition of a poser. I can almost guarantee you his teammates don't take him seriously and if they do then that is a bigger problem in and of itself.

He’s definitely the poster child of this era. From everything I’ve read he’s jumped around almost every year to a different team since HS.

I’m still waiting for the day when one of these teams that just throws money around actually wins a title. No way you can be that successful with a room full of dudes that probably don’t love the game as much, disloyal, and can’t/won’t take coaching because they’re making millions like the coaches.

It’s already been done. See Ohio State last year.

It really is absurd where all this has gone. Recruit a kid out of high school now they want you to pay them to take a visit. Then when they commit/sign, they want to get paid again. Then on the team a year or two but rarely see the field but still earning compensation, hop in portal and, “based on potential”, start pursuing an NIL pay raise.

And many demanding to be paid again (number I’ve heard is $50k) for the privilege to have them visit your campus.
You want to know why Saban retired? Look no further than this.

Imagine an entitled backup WR from a team we beat by 49 showing up in Saban's office and demanding he be paid just to talk to him.

One of my good friends is an SEC coordinator. He told me he had a kid who was a backup for Florida who he called who was in the portal. He told me he was looking to get him to add depth and didn't think he could start for a few years for them. Kid immediately asked on the phone, "Coach, how much can you get me." Was demanding close to a half a million to come to their school. The phone call didn't last long...
