I did see we are signing a much smaller class this year due to retention and small senior class. So we will not finish in the top 3 as we have since Deboer got here but keep an eye on the average per signee rather than the overall # we end up at.

Agreed and he would have to decide not to sign with just about everybody in the SEC since most schools are on that list.

I'm sure it would be ok to go to a certain school to the SW of Tuscaloosa..............and there might be someone else down that way pushing this

Not to mention we seem to still be in good shape for Malik Howard, who I like just as much as Lumpris, if not more.

Malik Howard cancelled his visit for May 29-31. No word on rescheduling. per 247, Tennessee, Oregon, and Norte Dame are in better position for him than Bama.

From what I have read we are in the lead for 4* WR and top 50 overall player Osani Gayles. He is on his OV this weekend. From Cali but plays at IMG. Watched video and is a lot like Loti Brooks but a little bigger.

From what I have read and heard from DeBoer we are most likely only taking two OL in this class.

Reading this morning of some tid-bits from the first big recruiting weekend of the summer.

Biggest surprise is the good vibes about 5 Star "Bama" Sales possibility to Alabama, despite Indiana and Texas $$$. Things must have gone well on that front!

And 4 Star Gayles was already sounding solid! If we got both of those studs that's a haul for '27!!!
