I see where all 5 of our hits against USC sat. came from the players that CMG AND CDN had give up on. Is CMG gonna bench all the ones that did not hit? These players see the favoritism from the coaches to certain players. Maybe less coaching from these two will actually help. Coach Ray Tanner has won the last two titles because he is not afraid to let his players play .Every time he sent a pinch hitter to the plate they hit the ball on a line somewhere .He played just about everyone on his roster it seemed. We let the same 5 or 6 go to the plate time and again and dribble it around the infield and and hope someone will make an error so we can score . this is not ALABAMA baseball as we all know it.

Does this Alabama Coach really want to win? If so why in the world would he send a player to the plate and watch him strikeout 41 times. What is the point? Is this really Alabama Baseball? Man! little kids dream of growing up and one day playing ball here at bama. What do you tell young players when they see a player strikeout so many times and other's make E's and not be taken out of the game? Young players are watching. Some of these bama players are not trying very hard because they are never coming out of the game. What a Joke! Is this what Alabama Baseball Fans come to pay and watch?

Whats up with Chazz Otwell not going to the plate? Chazz did very good in high school, has broken all kind of school hitting records. Played SS and hit well for Coach Randy Putman at Wallace State last year. Chazz only struckout 6 times in 26 inter- squad games this past fall. I think Chazz should be given a chance to bat, I am not the only one who feels this way, ask some of the players about his hitting. What would it hurt all he could do is strike out & that has been done plenty already. I think the Coaching staff does not know how well Chazz can hit in a game.

I have Coach him and my son has played all through little league and high school ball with Chazz. I know what he can do with at the plate. Thats why alot of people are wandering why he has'nt been given a chance.

I understand. This has been puzzling at best. Maybe he will get his shot sooner rather than later.
