I don't have a tat but they look worse on girls. Especially big back tats.

Totally dramatic, I don't really care how many of our players have horrible looking tats. Just don't want Verne Lundquist referring to it 5* a game.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Individuality is expressed by doing what everyone else does. Guess us old geezers should be relieved that he really is normal, because he wants to be like everyone else.
Maybe we should revisit this thread, when and if, he lobs some "pick 6", this season. Might be interesting to see who is defending him now will feel the same way then.
(Disclaimer: more cynicism, than tongue in cheek. Just thought some might need help on that!) (The last part is more tongue in cheek, just so you know.)

I personally just think it's (tattooing) more of a fad and one that will probably keep plastic surgeons busy for decades taking care of "tat regret".
I'm not judging A.J. or anyone else character, just the act of getting tattoos in general. Unless of course it has some cultural or religious context.
Look I'm cool with people doing whatever they want to themselves as long as it does not harm anyone else. But IMO there is a HUGE difference in dressing/fashion be it 60's 70's etc. and permanent scarring of one's body.

I have never been a tatoo guy. I have a friend from Bama that has a tatoo on his ankle of the old logo with the elephant coming out of the A and the last time I saw him, his elephant was getting hairy :biggrin:

Okay, just to clarify, if it was October, and whether AJ was starting or not, this might get two or three responses, then move on down the first page pretty quickly. I don't think anyone really think AJ having a tattoo is that big of a deal. It's just:
(A) it's hideous,
(B) it's on his back,
(C) he posted it publicly for everyone to see, and
(D) it's not a very prep school thing to do... tattoo, yes. Big tattoo of Jesus and "Bama Boy" across the back no.
Oh, and he's also engaged in the biggest QB battle Alabama has seen since Watts/Zow. I think.

I have a small cross tattoo on my wrist. I mean the thing is only 1" long x 1/2" wide, and it is just an outline, but I hate the thing now. I'm afraid he will regret getting this thing down the road like I do.

As long as it doesn't tighten up his throwing arm, I don't care. I would never have one much less like that but it's his right to have it. Wonder what it will all spell when age starts to move the skin?
