We lost some guys who have contributed in their time - Prentice, Law, Payne and Oatis. Odom showed potential but chatter exists about his attitude so I don't know there. Haynes and Smith have started at times. In return, we get a potential contributor in Collins, likely starters with Horton and Calhoun and then maybe some contributions or depth from the LB and OL. I'm not complaining about the staff, just was hoping for a bigger splash.

There’s still time and a bunch of quality teams still playing that will see attrition after their bowl games…patience.

Yep, but there is no additional limit nationally for scholarships. Schools can give 105 if they have funding. SEC schools have apparently agreed to an 85 scholly limit for next season.

yeah - was running with the 2s, so probably thought next year would be his turn, but with Lawson likely returning, JJ returning and the transfer in, he's probably still a 2, or maybe even a 3 since J Oko was pushing him a bit. When Campbell went down against UM, he got called up and I thought played reasonably well. Hate to see him go but understand. he was a tweaner when he came in - too short to really be an edge, but to heavy to play inside. He worked hard to lean up and make the move inside so hope it can work out for him somewhere.

Yeah, he had a hard time breaking into the lineup.................one thing is for sure, DeBoer will have a list to go shopping with, and he needs to get cracking

The guy could not earn a starting job at Ball State after 2 years there.
It might be another case of a coach/scout salivating over a guy with great measurables who can’t play.
