Missouri had a lot of bad luck and A&M had a lot of good luck. I felt like Missouri was going to have an easier time than A&M. A&M had a new coach, and up until Petrino got fired, one would have expected Arkansas to be well ahead of A&M.
Of course, as we now know Arkansas and Auburn are train wrecks. So, A&M has one more win that I would have expected thus far. On the other hand, Georgia, Florida and USC have all been performing at a reasonable level, something that hasn't happened in a while. Missouri doesn't really have an easy path, playing them and Alabama. Missouri will do better, but they'll only do better in the short term when one of those other programs struggle.
