I am a student at Alabama and had a question about big games such as the Florida game. (by the way i spent 100 dollars on my ticket because my other one got stolen I believe) Many schools have more than a compacity crowd on hand because the school allows more students then should in to the stadium or they just sell more tickets in the student section. My question is although the Florida ticket is tough to get down here does the ticket office sell more than the share of tickets that there are in the student section banking on some games students not showing up for various reasons. Or does it sell just the right amount of tickets that should be sold for the sections that we sit in? Just wondering if its going be packed and over a compacity crowd or its going to be the same as any usual game?

It's hard to tell how if they sell more student tickets than there are actual seats since the Greeks can save seats until 30 minutes before kickoff. I'm heading up this weekend and sitting in the student section and I can guarantee that we will be in the stadium at 12:30 when the gates open to ensure we have good seats and that we won't be crowded into the aisles.
