Did any of you watch Gonzo's "impressive" tourney wins?They looked awful. If the guy @ the end of the championship game had hit the wide-open layup, gonzo would have been beaten. I believe their one good man in the front court is hurt. Adam didn't impress me very much either. He lacks good sportsmanship. He seems to have an attitude which will be taken care of when he reaches the nba or further on in the nc2a's.Anyway his second half performance was awful against an inferior opponent. I think he had 4 points and 4 to 6 assists. He was also stripped of the ball several times.I wouldn't mind Bama facing them early on in the nc2a's.

I watched...

portions of it and I also thought AM was not the world-beater I had expected. The "heads" started having to praise his assist ability. He wasn't doing much else...

although i didn't see the game and don't know specifically why you feel AM is a bad sportsman and has an attitude, I have watched him several times this year. He's been quoted as stating he knows he plays ticked off and believes any player worth 2 cents plays ticked off. I tend to agree with him.

also, I've been a lurker on here for some time and would like to say I'm glad I found this site because it truly is full of very good information and very well run.

I'm not that impressed with Gonzaga myself...but it is more along the lines of quality wins. Just who have they beaten this past year that is NC2A bound? Lost to UConn and Mphs which are easily two of the top teams in the nation...but after that?!?

I agree they are overrated. However, you have to take in the fact they were penciled in as their opponets top games all year long. Everyone in their conference looks forward to this game more than any other.

Gonzaga and Adam Morrison looked impressive in their out of conference games. While they did not win every game, they at least showed they could play with the big boys.

Do I think they are a top 5 team, no. But most people are not giving them the credit they deserve.

I was basing my opinion strictly on how he acted during the game and statements that he made about trash talking and inferior opponents. They remarked about this during the Gonzo game.

I really think he needs to shave that little wimpy mustache off and get a hair cut.Hahaha

I believe Bama would match up good against them.
