6/12/2025
DALLAS, TX – Alabama's Carson Ozmer and Justin Lebron were named All-Americans by the National College Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), the organization announced Wednesday.
Ozmer was selected as a First Team All-American, while Lebron received Third Team All-American honors. The distinction is the second of the postseason for both Ozmer and Lebron, as the duo was also named to the ABCA/Rawlings All-Southeast Region Team on June 10. Ozmer is the first Crimson Tide player since Connor Prielipp (Collegiate Baseball Newspaper) in 2020 to receive First Team All-American accolades, while the third team honor is the fifth-career All-American recognition of Lebron's career following his Perfect Game USA Third Team honor earlier this offseason as well as three separate Freshman All-American distinctions a season ago.
Factoring in Ozmer and Lebron, Alabama has now produced four NCBWA All-American selections since 2021, including Chase Lee (Third Team, 2021) and Gage Miller (Third Team, 2024). Ozmer is also the first Tide player to be chosen as an NCBWA First Team All-American since Kent Matthes in 2009.
