I used to play with a guy who had the flattest jumper arc I'd ever seen. He'd hit the back rim every time on the way down. The ball barely scraped over the front of the rim. I used to try to diagram the geometry in my mind. When he was on, he hit, but, when he was off, he hit either the front or back rim...

I played with the same guy (okay, maybe not the same exact guy). There was such a tight window for the ball to fit, but he could get consitent at times.
